Community Garden

The John Irving Park Community Garden provides a space for members of the community to come together to grow food, learn from each other about gardening and composting and connect with the community. We regularly have garden meetings and working bees. To date, all our plots have been filled. please send us an email to register your interest at manager@hpcc.org.au

Community SUPPORT

HPCC provides support and practical assistance for families in crisis. We provide a judgement-free listening ear and case-by-case support. We're all about meeting people where they're at and helping them find their way.

Jp Service

Harris Park Community Centre operates a Justice of the Peace service. We are available to; administer oaths, witness signatures, witness affidavits, witness statutory declarations and certify copies of documents. Please note that this service is subject to the availability of the Justice of Peace.

Please call 96350157 to book an appointment prior to coming in. Generally The service is provided on Monday ,Tuesday and Thursday from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm

fOOD PARCELS

Our food parcels are available to all in need, anytime. We have a supply of non-perishable and fresh food ready to supply. Call us, or visit the centre and let us know you’re in need.

Community EVENTS

The centre runs many events throughout the year, such as Neighbourhood week, school holiday programs and cultural events.

Homework help

The Homework Help program provides assistance to local children ages 8 to 12 years after school hours with their homework. The group aims to provide support for children from a non-English speaking background, and help them to feel connected within the community.

Thursday 3:30pm – 5pm (In school terms)

pLAY GROUP

A weekly group for 0-6 year old and their parent or carer to bond, develop relationships, play, learn and grow. This program is run by HPCC Community Development Worker.

Monday 9:30am – 11:30am

use of premise

We have a large open space available for groups and non-for-profit organisations to run activities and support groups throughout the week. The space is available to partner with us to provide valuable social outcomes in the area.
